Daylite Plus Backpack

Osprey Daylite Plus Backpack Reviews

The ingeniously designed Osprey Daylite Plus Backpack is a roomy daypack that attaches to larger Osprey packs on longer adventures. The relatively compact, easy-carrying size lends itself to everything from spirited hikes up towering peaks to sightseeing along tropical coastlines and jungle ruins. It's hydration-compatible, thanks to an internal slip that fits an Osprey Hydraulics reservoir (not included), doubling as a handy spot for a smaller tablet. The main compartment and front-access pocket eagerly swallow a windbreaker, energy bars, small gadgets, and other must-haves. There's a front organizer pocket with integrated clip for securing your keys and daily essentials. Side mesh pockets clutch water bottles for extra hydration capacity.

Go-to pack

This pack has been on many adventures! Fantastic for a weekend or overnight bag, carry on, or day hikes. Enough space for camera equipment, clothing and has a separate reservoir compartment in the back. Fits osprey 3L. The "plus" pocket in the front is great for quickly getting to items in zippered area or stuffing spare jacket or hat in open area (adjustable click straps). Fits comfortably with chest (has whistle) and waist straps, you can easily clip on other items with carabineer.
100% recommend!

Very Solid Daypack

My Daylite is one of my favorite pieces of gear. It's the perfect size for a long day on the trail and can take a big time beating. Lightweight and big enough for snacks, water, and all of your accessories. The entire volume that you can carry is broken up into separate pockets as opposed to one single space, so you cannot fully take advantage of all 20+ liters.

Great daypack

Osprey products are grey - amazing quality and a fabulous warranty policy. I’ve never had a problem with this pack but my backpacking backpack had a malfunctioning zipper and he repair staff were nothing but pleasant to deal with. I like this pack because it forces me to take less than what I normally would - which is wayyyyy over packing. It has a hip and chest strap which allows a lot of options. My only complaint is the water bottle pockets are too shallow, meaning if you bend over with a hydro flask or a nalgene style bottle, you’ll be field testing them for their dent capacity as they hit the ground. However this pack does have a hydration pouch spot so there are ways around the problem.
