I have hiked in these boots for over 7 years. They are in need of replacement and I will be buying these again. I hiked Mount Kilimanjaro and the Salkantay trail in Peru with these, not to mention probably hundreds of miles before those two big hikes.. I also live in the Northeast and we get a lot of snow in there winter. I have used these boots to snowshoe and with just some warm socks these have kept me comfortable and dry. I love the wider toe box as I do have slightly wide foot. I highly recommend these boots but as always it's important for each person to try their own boots because every foot is very different.
These boots are comfortable, supportive and waterproof – everything you want in a hiking boot. I’ve worn my Keens on multi-day backpacking trips through steep and rocky terrain, and on lots of shorter day trips. They’re great value for the price.
I absolutely love these. Any hiking boots you get, make sure they are waterproof. And if they are waterproof, I like them to go above the ankle. These are comfortable with a great grip. I purchased mine on sale at REI.
