Heli Pro 20L Backpack

Dakine Heli Pro 20L Backpack Reviews

Some backcountry missions don't require a full touring pack—for those quick, out-of-the-gate, powder-seeking missions or heli-assist days, the Dakine Heli Pro 20L Backpack is a solid choice. The pack's compact design carries a shovel, probe, and extra layer, while straps along the front of the pack carries a board or pair of skis for the bootpack. Throw a hydration reservoir in the internal sleeve to stay hydrated on the skintrack or stash a bladder of el vino in there to stay well-lubed for closing day at the resort.

Great slackcountry or resort pack

Great for cruisin the resort or for short tours off the ski resort. I would recommend a bigger pack for longer tours. There is no dedicated snow tools pocket but it fits everything you need. Very low profile so never bothers me on the chairlift. My girlfriend also bought one and loves it for her resort riding. Also doubles as a great fishing backpack in the summer for those hike in alpine lakes!

Bag for every use

I have two of these and would get a third if I had the space. I use one for ski gear and as a gym bag. The other is a hiking bag, holds a good size bladder and plenty of room for snacks, jackets, phones, etc. I do travel with it as well, easy to carry through an airport, holds a laptop and makes it easy to find things quickly.

Great backpack for snowboarding.

I have had this for a few years. Holds up very well, but due to life changes, kids, I no longer snowboard. I have been using it to fly to and from work. Holds everything I need. Maybe just a bit excessive for normal air travel though....
