Altra Timps are Limp

These shoes are comfy but not super sturdy for backpacking. I would say these are more or a trail running shoe. They are not as durable as other altra shoes.

Great shoes, but be patient with adjusting to zero drop

I love these shoes, they are really comfy and the treat rocks. They do require time to get used to the zero drop. I made the mistake of not being patient. I was not used to zero drop soles and my arches were not happy after a 6 mile hike in them. So please, for your feets sake take baby steps when just starting. My still arches tend to get very sore of I haven't worn them in a while and decide to go on a long trail in them.
