Hi Guys!
I've always loved the outdoors in a variety of different manners, be it mushroom picking, hiking, backpacking, kayaking/canoeing, fishing, offroading, bushcrafting.. basically anything and everything nature is where I spend every second of my spare time. I'm a full-time nurse in B.C. Canada so on my days off I do everything I can outside!
All the Best,
Tilai

Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket - Men's My Review

The goretex coat that you want!

I absolutely love my Beta AR. This goretex shell is built so damn well! Very durable material, I've had mine for about 5 years and it looks basically new.. I'm not easy on my gear either, this coat has been on numerous hikes, camping trips and mushroom picking excursions. Couldn't recommend this coat highly enough. I jumped straight to this coat from arcteryx, may girlfriend got the Zeta AR with the one piece hood and we find it can leak down off the hood into your interior during high intensity situations. Which was quite frustrating, upgraded her to the Beta AR too and it functions immaculately. Worth every penny!

GSI Outdoors Halulite Minimalist Cookset

GSI Outdoors Halulite Minimalist Cookset My Review

Yes!

This minimalist kit is so convenient! It's marked at an affordable price point and comes with everything you need! Cooking pot, washing basin, wind screen, two bowls, two mugs, two collapsing sporks (these are a little weak) as well you can fit the stove and a small gas canister inside the compact kit. All in all, super streamlined, lightweight and terribly convenient for all your cooking and eating needs. The pot is made of anodized aluminum which I've found strong, and quick to boil water. We recently used this as the sole stove system for a group of 4 on a 7 day backpacking trek and it held up excellently! Definitely recommend this product.

Questions I've Answered

Cory B.  Cory B.: Are these pants super stiff? If so, do they break in pretty quickly? The last pair of Fjallraven's I had were stiff AF no matter how many times I wore or washed them! Hoping to find durable AND comfortable pants
Tilai E.  Tilai E.: If you're looking for comfort and durability I'd look at the fjallraven kebs. They have a stretchy fabric between the areas of G-1000 making them more of a nice hiking / general use pant. I use my Vidda Pros when I'm out bushcrafting or mushroom picking because they are built like stiff, durable work pants. Hope this helps :)
