I love backpacking, yoga, climbing, and all around exploring! This year alone I've been out hiking and camping in southern Nevada, backpacked 101 miles at Isle Royale National Park, and visited the newest national park, Indiana Dunes. Besides the outdoors I am in the process of getting my 200-hour yoga teaching certification and aerial yoga certification. I love my cat, drawing, sewing, gardening, and teaching others about Leave No Trace.
lululemon Align Pant II
If you are looking for the most buttery, soft, barely there feeling in a yoga pant, THIS IS IT!!! No joke, these pants are insanely soft and comfortable. They are designed as yoga pants/every day leggings. Be warned it is not advisable to wear them running or when doing high intensity workouts; the material will wear a lot faster that way. They are also more prone to snagging. But for yoga these are my all time favorite pants!!!
Lowa Renegade GTX Mid Hiking Boot - Women's
Ankle support all the way
When I was ready to upgrade to a way better hiking boot, I knew I wanted to try the Renegades by Lowa. I wear the pink Superfeet insoles in them for maximum comfort. I have the kind with the Gortex in them, but they also make leather lined. These boots are incredibly comfortable and offer the ankle support I need. I have rolled my ankle on numerous occasions and needed something that would help protect my clumsy self. They are a bit on the heavier side as far as boots go, but surprisingly not bad. They really help me when carrying a fully loaded back for a week or more at a time. I wear a size 7.5 and have an average width foot.
NEMO Hornet 1P Ultralight Backpacking Tent
I've had my Nemp Hornet 1P tent for almost four years now. It has withstood windstorms in the desert, lake effect snow in the midwest, hail storms, and thunderstorms. The set up of the tent is insanely easy and fast. The rain cover works really well, just be sure you have it staked and adjusted so it is as taut as it can go to ensure maximum dryness. It is the perfect size for one person. My boyfriend and I use it when we backpack together and it works for us! It's a bit snug for two people (he's 6'2" and I'm 5'3"), but we make it work comfortably. I could not recommend this tent enough!
Kula Cloth Kula Cloth
Must HAVE for all girls!
The Kula cloth has completely upgraded my experience peeing in the outdoors as a girl. It clips onto the outside of my pack for easy access and is super soft and absorbent. The material helps to ensure I stay sanitary and cleansed downstairs. It can be easily cleaned in the field with biodegradable soap and water (but don't wash it in the body of water!, practice LNT). In addition, there are reflective stitching on it so at night I can easily find it. Using this has helped me to reduce waste on trail and better practice LNT principles.
