I'm the type of person who only reps things I love & believe in. I'm passionate about life & everything outdoors! I want to share that passion with everyone I meet!
Marmot Tungsten 2 Person Tent
Easy up easy down
Fits two shorter people comfortably. If you or your spouse is bigger then 5'10" I would get the 3person option. Very lightweight easy setup. Poles very durable. Doesn't come with footprint which I do recommend. Zippers worked well not catching. Easy to pack up.
The North Face The North Face Women's Ventrix Hoodie Jacket
It's not a Sweater!
The Ventrix is my go to for comfort and performance. I've worn this up on the top of windy Mt Adams with just a base layer under it & stayed super warm. It's been used and abused with no tears or seems split. A great jacket for the cost!
Salomon X Ultra 3 Mid GTX Hiking Boots
Women's Size 8 wide
These have been my favorite boots! Didn't even need to break them in like my old boots. I've hiked well over 500 miles from when I purchased them in 2018 & the tread is still good. I just had to put a new insole set in. The gtx is still doing great too I'm constantly hiking in snow & water & these bad boys have not let me down.
Black Diamond Trail Back Trekking Poles
Keep your balance!
Ever since I tore my ACL I've been using these trekking poles. They've been great. Durable, lightweight, & easy to setup. I'm not a light weight woman & these bad boys make me feel safe coming down a steep mountain!
Kahtoola MICROspikes Traction System
These are great! I've used them trekking up Mt St Helens & many other steep hikes covered in snow & ice. They fit well over almost any boot & the spikes grip really well on ice. Just remember to be gentle when walking over rocks or gravel. The company is also great when it comes to any issues. A friend had a pair break & they replaced them without any issues!
YETI Rambler Lowball
Keep it hot!
Love this for keeping my hot drinks warm for more then a few minutes. I've left a hot drink in here & it's still warm even after an hour. It also does well with cold drinks! I've left ice in it in a hot 80+ degree car for a few hours & still had ice when returning!
Big Agnes Air Core Ultra Sleeping Pad
Went with this beauty & have not regretted it! I have it in petite size because I'm 5'3" & it's great. Comfortable & gives you a nice lift away from the ground. Packs down to a little over a pound & is easy to inflate(one way valve) & deflate!
Katadyn Hiker Pro Filter
Pump it up!
I've been using the Katadyn Hiker Pro for 3 years now & it's amazing! Fairly light & compacts down in to a provided bag with cleaning supplies & extra pump pieces just in case. Easy to set up & take down. I even had the housing for the filter break this year & Katadyn made it easy to get a new replacement no hassle and for free!
Jetboil Coffee Press
No more instant coffee!
Just found this option & love it! I do get a few coffee chunks here & there but still wins over the instant stuff. Lightweight & fits easily inside your jetboil!
Jetboil Flash Cooking System
1 minute or less!
I've been using this system for a few years & love it! Cooks water quickly & is fairly light weight. I've used it in higher elevations & still works great. I've also gotten the french press piece so I can brew fresh coffee high up! Wonderful for single or double adventurers!
Keen Uneek Slipper - Women's
Honestly love the idea of these sandals. So cool with the cord design but not always functional. They tend to rub on a few spots and leave some raw areas on my toes unfortunately. On the upside they're very comfortable aside from rubbage. I hiked 18 miles in them on fairly flat water terrain over rocks & sand. The cords kept me from stubbing my toes on several occasions.
Sawyer Squeeze Water Filter System
Water for all!
I recently purchased this product for my trip to the Havasupai waterfalls in Arizona. The Sawyer Squeeze was perfect! It's super light weight & takes up little to no room in my day pack. I was able to fill and go unlike my hand pump water filter. Comes with two refillable bags, setup for a gravity drip, and backwash syringe just in case you need to clean out debris. A+++ in my books! Plus they donate to countries in need of clean water!
Kula Cloth Kula Cloth
Pee to save the Trees
I've got two of these bad boys in my gear stash! The antimicrobial fibers keep you sanitary while cleaning your lady bits. Also while reducing your footprint on this planet by not using toilet paper! You do need to wash them after a day hike. Or bring the earth friendly soap that you can buy from Kula Cloth(a little goes a long way) Can be snapped to your pack, belt, or anything that has a loop! I even keep one in the car for those long road trips when you can't always find a bathroom in time! No drip drying for this girl!
