Jetboil Flash Cooking System

Jetboil Flash Cooking System My Review

Perfect Camp Kitchen

I have been using my Flash for a few years now and it’s been fantastic. While it is one of the larger in size out of the other Jetboil systems, it’s been perfect for solo and even more so if I am camping with a partner. Boils super fast! I’m a fan of Jetboil’s customer service as well.

Sawyer Permethrin Insect Repellent Spray

Sawyer Permethrin Insect Repellent Spray My Review

I am a believer in Sawyer Products and their Permethrin is a game changer. Treat your clothing before a trip, and it stays effective for up to 6 washes. Please note that it is toxic to felines until it is 100% dry. Treat outdoors or in a well ventilated area where it’s out of the way of pets and kids until it’s completely dry! Pair this with Picaridin lotion or spray for your skin and you’re golden for tick season.

Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL 2 Tent

Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL 2 Tent My Review

This is a fantastic tent for soloing and comfy enough for 2 people. This has been my favorite tent for 3 years! Lightweight, durable and very easy to set up. Stays dry on the inside during rain and packs super small.

Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket

Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket My Review

Splurge. Take the jump. Bite the bullet. This puffy is one of my favorite pieces of gear hands down! I hang around camp in it, I sleep in it, I use it as a’s the best. I have the black hooded version. Warmest, coziest coat in all the land! No issues with feather loss, tears, etc. Stows in its own pocket. Weighs nothing. Great investment.

Katadyn Hiker Pro Filter

Katadyn Hiker Pro Filter My Review

I love this filter! I have my water bladder rigged so I can plug this straight into my backpack and filter clean water right into my hydration vestibule without having to remove anything. Quick to use, easy to keep clean. I’ve had the same model for 3 years and it’s been great.

Osprey Kestrel 48 Backpack

Osprey Kestrel 48 Backpack My Review

This pack has been a perfect fit and trail companion for about 3 years. From short weekend trips to week long section hikes it has proven to be just the right size for my gear (all seasons) and needs.
My base weight before food and water hovers between 17-21 lbs depending on the weather.
I am a 34 year old woman, 5’7” and fluctuate occasionally between 178-190lbs. I wear a size M/L pack. I’ve never had an issue with the fit. In fact, it’s sincerely very comfortable.
The rain cover works great.
I like the many roomy pockets and internal storage in the brain.
