Hi! My name is Erika. I am from Salt Lake City, Utah and love the outdoors. My favorite thing to do is hike all year round. I also love camping, backpacking and visiting National Parks. And Utah is a great place to live because we have 5 in our state and we are close to other great parks in our neighboring states. My husband and I are new parents and have made it a goal to continue getting outside as much as possible. We took our son on his first "hike" when he was 10 days old. And I get him outside every morning for a chance to spend time in nature whether that be on the trail or at a park. It's been extra important for us to find good gear for our baby that will last for future kids. Before our baby two of the coolest things we have done are hike the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim trail in a day (about 26 miles) and hike the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu in Peru while I was 18 weeks pregnant. I love hard hikes and would love to do some thru hiking in the future.

Osprey Poco AG 26L Kid Carrier
Love this kids carrier
Love this baby carrier for several reasons. 1. Sunshade is included. This is great for those sunny days. It also has been helpful during light rain. 2. The stir ups. 3. They have a great warranty.
Kahtoola MICROspikes Traction System
Best microspikes for year round hiking
These microspikes have made it so we can easily hike all year round. They are easy to use and are Felix me so they can fit lots of shoes. During the winter and early spring we carry these in our pack and can easily slip them on and off. Do yourself a favor and pick up a pair.
